Labour Market Regulatory Authority receives BIPA shield

(BNA): Bahrain Institute of Public Administration (BIPA) presented the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) with a shield in recognition of its participation in the BIPA 2019-2020 training programmes.
The programmes covered basic and supplementary training courses to prepare and develop the administrative and institutional work at the authority. A total of 160 LMRA employees benefited from the BIPA programmes over the past two years.
Labour and Social Development Minister, LMRA board chairman, Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan stressed the importance of continuous training which contributes to honing the skills of employees, developing their capabilities and competencies, raising their productivity and promoting the culture of change.
The minister stressed the LMRA drive to draw up an annual programme aimed to train employees in various sectors, adding that training schemes continued past year due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
