City Centre Bahrain launches outdoor food fest, open-air cinema

City Centre Bahrain, the premier shopping, entertainment, and lifestyle destination in the kingdom, has announced the launch of the largest rooftop food festival, featuring a wide range of local and international F&B brands, along with an open-air cinema.
Launched by the mall, Outdoors Festival will offer diners a unique opportunity to experience and explore the region’s rich food culture.
It will be new and innovative culinary experience for the nation’s passionate community of food lovers to enjoy, said the statement from Bahrain City Centre.
Taking place on Level 6 of the City Centre Bahrain car park, Outdoors Festival has been launched to seat up to 300 guests, and features an open-air cinema showcasing family-friendly classics and popular blockbusters.
Guests can attend the festival from 5 pm to 10 pm on weekdays, and 5 pm to 12 midnight on weekends, Thursdays and Fridays.
Announcing the key culinary event, Duaij Al Rumaihi, Mall Director, said: 'We are pleased to launch our first-ever outdoor food festival this year. The event promises to be an exciting extravaganza of food and culture; a celebration brought to life by our unique range of local and international F&B brands.'
Serving up an appetising array of dining options in the most picturesque of surroundings, the festival will bring families and friends together to entertain themselves with a variety of fun-filled activities and celebrate the joy of food, he stated.
'The festival will treat our customers to unforgettable dining experiences on the rooftop of City Centre Bahrain. It will open mall visitors’ eyes to the beauty of the Manama skyline, and broaden their culinary horizons,' he added.
Al Rumaihi said as part of the launch of the new experience, City Centre Bahrain is also offering its full selection of F&B tenants the opportunity to share their menus with customers and showcase their dishes digitally on the newly-launched “Order/Deliver” mobile application.
'The contactless meal order mobile app, created by OrderJet, can be downloaded on Apple and on Google Play Store,' he stated.
'Using the app, customers attending Outdoors Festival can order their meals from any one of City Centre Bahrain’s F&B outlets by scanning unique QR codes placed on each table at the venue,' he added.
According to him, the festival will also showcase Bahrain City Centre's extensive range of high-end and street-style fashion brands, with shoppers being given the chance to win several gifts and make the most of exclusive promotions.
'This allows guests to scan and order from the available outlets with payments made directly through the app. Guests will have their orders prepared and delivered directly to their tables. Orders can also be delivered to customers’ vehicles or any other location within City Centre Bahrain’s Level 6 premises using the “Order/Deliver” app’s Geolocation feature,' he stated.
'Outdoors festival underlines our commitment to delighting our customers with immersive retail experiences that are fun, unique, and safe; memorable in-person experiences that create great moments for everyone, everyday,' he added.
