Bahrain Islamic Index closes higher

Manama, May. 8 (BNA): Bahrain All Share Index closed at 2,042.80 points, marking a decrease of 11.50 points below the previous closing.
This decrease was due to the fall in the Consumer Discretionary Sector, Financials Sector, Materials Sector, and Real Estate Sector.
Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 745.62 points, marking an increase of 0.89 points above the previous closing.
Results indicated that 75 equity transactions took place with a volume of 1,744,088 worth BD 556,641.
Investors traded mainly in the Financial Sector representing 46.5% of the total value of securities traded.
