CBB Sukuk Al Ijara oversubscribed by 182%

Manama, Nov. 1 (BNA): The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) said that the monthly issue of the short-term Islamic leasing bonds, Sukuk Al Ijara, has been oversubscribed by 182%.
Subscriptions worth BD 47.363 million were received for the BD 26 million issue, which carries a maturity of 182 days.
The expected return on the issue, which begins on November 3 and matures on May 4, 2023, is 5.20% compared to 4.70% of the previous issue on October 6.
The Sukuk Al Ijara are issued by the CBB on behalf of the Government of Bahrain.
This is issue No.207 (BH000W9763D8) of the short-term Sukuk Al Ijara series.
