In light of the vision 2030 principles that state under the ‘Economy’ section that Bahrain stimulates growth by enhancing productivity and skills, Bahrain continues to be a pioneer in acquiring skills and building capabilities in many disciplines to transform, elevate and bring about a positive change in the short and long run.

Proudly said, in September 2020, Eman Deabil – a Bahraini individual became the first certified Strategy Implementation Professional (SIP) in Bahrain and among the first 20 certified professionals around the globe, SIP is the first global credential of its kind. This certificate was launched earlier this year by the Strategy Implementation Institute in association with APMG International (one of the largest professional accreditation organizations) with the objective of increasing competencies of implementation professionals. The Institute has developed the Strategy Implementation Roadmap (SIR) as part of its body of knowledge. The SIR provides a step-by-step guide on “how” to implement a strategy. It covers the key areas that an implementation specialist needs to know and outlines the required skills.

The Strategy Implementation Institute provides the training, certification and resources to people looking to acquire the knowledge and skills to be strategy implementation specialists. Moreover, the institute helps in creating a professional community, sharing knowledge, contributing to the body of knowledge, recognizing leaders, awarding professionals and allow volunteering participation.

Eman is a Chartered Manager from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) – the highest professional status within management, doctorate student and published author. In addition to SIP, she’s PMP, PRINCE2, COBIT5, CGEIT and ISO9001 certified. Eman is a professional management consultant with 13 years of total diversified experience. She excels in working closely with senior management to facilitate informed decision-making and drive change in a structured manner by steering cross-functional teams to produce meaningful outcomes with high quality standards. Eman is able to develop tailor-made frameworks/methodologies/approaches based on best practices and organization’s maturity levels. Throughout her career, she has assisted a number of organizations in PMOs setups/assessments, and strategy developments.

In addition, Eman has contributed in co-authoring 3 books: The DNA of Development (2018), On Startups (2019), Women on Success (2020). In May 2020, the projects she led were awarded the 3rd and 5th place in the PMO Hackathon organized by the PMO Global Alliance. She was the only Bahraini among 536 registered participants from 83 countries.

‘My aim is always to encourage my Bahraini peers to acquire knowledge and develop skills, as well as to elevate the overall learning experience and bridge the knowing-doing gap by focusing on deep learning where we can learn and leverage as opposed to shallow learning where we just learn and add more credentials beside our names’ – Eman stated.
