Beach closed down for flouting precautionary measures

Manama, Jan. 9 (BNA): Director-General of Muharraq Governorate Police announced on Saturday that a beach in Amwaj Island was closed down for violating precautionary measures against COVID-19.
The action was taken in coordination with the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism and the Ministry of Health.
Legal proceedings would be taken against establishments with violations, he said, urging the public, as well as service and tourism facilities to follow the rules against the spread of the pandemic for the safety of all.
