The hospitality group has announced their intention to open ten new hotels over the next three years, adding 3,000 new keys.

While international markets will continue to be a key focus for Rotana, the hospitality group remains committed to strengthening its footprint in the UAE and plans to meet the predicted growing demand for hotel rooms in the upscale segment in 2021 and beyond.

The MENA region’s hospitality sector has showcased a solid growth trajectory, which has been supported by the ambitious economic diversification roadmaps outlined by governments, including the UAE’s Vision 2021 and the Saudi Vision 2030. The group’s expansion plans sit in line with the government’s vision to strengthen the UAE as an exciting and vibrant global tourism hub.

In Saudi Arabia, the group currently has five properties under development, and the hospitality group is adding two new properties in Al Baha and Jubail under the Rayhaan Hotels & Resorts by Rotana brand. Meanwhile in Bahrain’s capital Manama, Residencies by Rotana, a long-stay brand, is set to open in 2022.
