Bahrain Car Parks Company, a key player in the parking management and property leasing sector, has announced the launch of its mobile payment portal for use at its flagship mixed-use multi-storey building, Terminal, in partnership with BenefitPay and Scheidt & Bachmann, the German leader in smart parking solutions.

A first of its kind in Bahrain, the advanced contactless parking payment system creates a stress-free parking experience for customers visiting the Terminal in the busiest area of Block 338 in Adliya, a major cultural and dining destination in Bahrain.

Partnering with BenefitPay allows contactless payment where consumers can transact seamlessly without the use of cash or cards, completely electronically, securely, and immediately, said the statement from Bahrain Car Parks Company.

The mobile payment portal is a key component of the digital transformation strategy of Bahrain Car Parks Company and this launch is the first step towards the digitization of parking locations managed and operated by the company.

To enhance the portal, a complementing mobile app will be launched soon that will enable customers to view and book available parking slots in advance, in addition to add-on services such as valet parking and car wash, it added.

On the launch, Chairman Amin Alarrayed, said: Bahrain Car Parks Company remains committed to its values which aim to increase customer satisfaction, provide premier quality products and services, and manage car parks with utmost concern for safety, security and care for the environment.'

'It is a milestone that we are very pleased to achieve and we look forward to rolling over the service to other parking locations in the near future,' he added.

CEO Tariq Aljowder said the portal is one of a series of initiatives we’re introducing this year as part of the five-year digital transformation strategy.

'Our goal is to take the customer experience to new levels where the parking journey not only becomes seamless but also integrated with other add-on services, making our customers’ everyday lives easier at a one-stop-shop in our car parks,' he noted.

'We will continue developing and upgrading our parking systems, and growing the number of parking spaces under our management, with the aim of becoming the leading and preferred mobility partner in Bahrain and the GCC,' he added.
