NCC chief meets BJA President

Manama, July 31 (BNA): Chief Executive Officer of the National Communication Centre (NCC), Yousif Mohammed Al-Binkhalil, met the President of the Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA) and Editor-in-Chief of the “Al-Ayam” newspaper, Isa Al-Shaiji.

Al-Binkhalil congratulated Al-Shaiji on being elected unopposed as BJA President, stressing that the victory reflects the press community’s great appreciation for him thanks to his wide-ranging experience, and major contributions to Bahraini journalism.

He wished Al-Shaiji every success in leading BJA in a way that would meet the aspirations of all its affiliates.

Al-Binkhalil also discussed with Al-Shaiji ways to enhance cooperation between NCC and the Al-Ayam newspaper to contribute to achieving the national goals and highlighting the landmark achievements currently witnessed by the kingdom, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

BJA President expressed thanks and appreciation to NCC chief, praising NCC’s national role and tangible efforts to enhance government communication, affirming Al-Ayam newspaper’s keenness to support NCC’s efforts, within the community partnership between government entities and various media outlets in the kingdom.
