DERASAT signs agreement with Atlantic Council

Manama, Dec. 6 (BNA): Bahrain Centre for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (DERASAT) signed a cooperation agreement with the US think tank - Atlantic Council.
DERASAT Executive Director Dr. Hamad Ibrahim Al Abdalla inked the deal with the Atlantic Council Director for Strategy, Operations, and Finance.in the Middle East Dr. Tuqa Nusairat.
DERASAT Board of Trustees’ Chairman Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa attended the signing of the agreement on the sidelines of the Think Tanks Forum, being held in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa said that the agreement aims to bolster scientific research cooperation, stressing the importance of stepping up coordination between think tanks.
Dr. Tuqa Nusairat said that the memorandum of understanding would contribute to strengthening cooperation between the two centres, adding that a string of activities would be held in the near future.
