TRA Bahrain publishes its one year work plan (2022-2023)

In line with further promoting Bahrain’s Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) as a consumer centric regulator, the Authority publishes its draft work plan Today, structured upon four main pillars: meeting government policy, ensuring a secure and resilient network for all users, reliable broadband for all, and protecting and empowering consumers.
Commenting on the publication of the One Year Work Plan, General Director of TRA Bahrain, Mr. Philip Marnick stated “Bahrain continues to develop its telecoms sector as part of its Economic Vision 2030 plan, with telecommunications being one of the key strategic areas. The Authority will help drive the digitization of industry in the Kingdom. “
Adding to the statement, the General Director assures “The Authority’s work plan ensures that our work delivers for Bahrain and consumers. I welcome comments from industry and consumers on our proposed work plan.”
As part of this process, the Authority will consult to ensure that everyone’s views are taken into consideration before publishing the final work plan. To view the plan, please visit TRA website www.tra.org.bh.
