BAB Chairman Adnan Yousif receives top banking award

Bahrain Association of Banks Chairman Adnan Yousif has been conferred with the “March of Achievements and Successes” award at the 2022 International Arab Banking Summit held in Frankfurt.
The summit was held from June 20 to 21 under the slogan “Responding to Global Shocks and Managing Uncertainty.”
Yousif was honoured with the award at a special ceremony during the summit, participated by senior German and Arab officials and bankers, led by the German Minister of Finance, Christian Lindner, and the President of the Union of Arab Banks, Mohamed El-Etreby.
BAB CEO Dr Waheed Al Qassim said: “Mr Adnan Yousif is deservedly being honoured with this prestigious award at this important international banking forum. His career has played a significant role in developing and strengthening the Bahraini and Arab banking industries in general, and the Islamic banking sector, in particular.
'While we express our pride in this honourable achievement, we see the award as a tribute to the entire banking industry as well as the Kingdom of Bahrain, which has become a prominent global player in the banking, financial and development spheres.
