2nd Bahrain NHRA Regulatory Conference and Exhibition launches in September

The National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) will hold the 2nd NHRA Regulatory Conference and Exhibition from September 27–29 in the Bahrain Conference Center Crowne Plaza Hotel, under the patronage of His Excellency Lieutenant General Doctor Sheikh Mohamed Bin Abdullah Al-Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health.

H.E. Lt. General Doctor Sheikh Mohamed Bin Abdullah Al Khalifa emphasized the importance of this conference to exchange views among all health practitioners in the healthcare and medical services sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Arabian Gulf on a variety of topics related to the various health sectors, including strengthening the Kingdom of Bahrain’s leadership in the field of health and medical professions regulations and discussing the exchange of expertise including medical education and training, health and medical research, health investment, and data protection in the fields of medicine, public health, and other topics will be cover as well.

H.E pointed out that will provide a platform for meeting with health and medical service providers from various areas and introducing them to the latest advancement in the Supreme Council of Health’s role in developing and implementing the National Health Plan, which aims to develop the entire health service system in accordance with the objectives of Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030, and consistent with the government’s program, and in keeping with national initiatives to further improve the quality and sustainability of health services provided in the kingdom, including the National Health Insurance Program, which is one of the strategic projects to improve the quality of health services provided to citizens and residents.

The conference, entitled “Safe and High-quality Healthcare Services”, will extend to three days and aims to enhance communication between all health practitioners, and those interested in providing health care and medical services, products of the pharmaceutical industries, healthcare organizations, patient safety, medical educators and accreditation experts from the region and the globe to share insights on implementing and managing health regulations, in addition to attracting key healthcare professionals from Bahrain, the GCC region and beyond in order to improve the quality of health services in the Kingdom of Bahrain. In addition, an exhibition will be held on the sidelines, showcasing the services and products of its participants.

The 2nd NHRA Regulatory Conference and Exhibition is organized by BDA for Conference and Exhibition with the support of government health authorities and the private sector.
