CBB Sukuk Al Ijara Oversubscribed by 271%

Manama, Aug. 2 (BNA): The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) announced that the monthly issue of the short-term Islamic leasing bonds, Sukuk Al Ijara was oversubscribed by 271%.
Subscriptions worth BD 70.5 million were received for the BD 26 million issue, which carries a maturity of 182 days.
The expected return on the issue, which begins on August 4 and matures on 2 February 2023, is 3.95% compared to 4.05% of the previous issue on July 7.
The Sukuk Al Ijara is issued by the CBB on behalf of the Government of Bahrain.
This is issue No.204 (BH00010I85F8) of the short-term Sukuk Al Ijara series.
