Gulf Air Acting CEO receives the airline’s Airport Team

Gulf Air Acting Chief Executive Officer Captain Waleed AlAlawi recently received all members of the airline’s Airport Team including all lounge agents and shift staff.

The team was represented by Senior Manager Bahrain Hub Adel Abdullatif, and the event took place in the attendance of members of the airline’s Executive Management.

Captain AlAlawi praised the role Gulf Air’s Airport Team plays in representing the airline as a first point of direct contact with passengers, and encouraged the team members to go above and beyond duty to make certain the airline’s customers get the best service and the highest levels of hospitality to cater to their various needs.

In addition, Captain AlAlawi highlighted the many challenges facing the industry in the post-pandemic era, and urged the team to rise to these challenges and keep up their excellent performance that led up to the five-star status the airline achieved amongst other airlines in the region.

On his part, Abdullatif highlighted the open door policy the airline’s executive management has been following, and its keenness on periodically meeting with the airline’s family members which include numerous staff belonging to several fields within the scope of the airline’s work; and promised to continue the improvement process the team began to ensure all ground operations in the airport are implemented according to the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Gulf Air’s executive management continues to follow up on all issues relating to the airline’s staff; in addition to its constant efforts to develop the skill set of staff for their personal gain, and the wellbeing of the airline in general.
