For the first time ever, Jewellery Arabia 2022, the Middle East’s premier jewellery and watch event, announced the launch of an innovative programme, which includes a number of design talks and workshops with world-renowned experts within the jewellery and perfume industry. This programme will take place during the upcoming five-day event.

A dedicated space has been allocated at the event to host a range of talks and workshops, attracting a wider audience interested in expanding their knowledge on jewellery and perfumery.

The first-of-its-kind event aims to cater to the needs of jewellery and perfume enthusiasts seeking to learn more about the industry through exclusive workshops. Making its debut in Bahrain, Jewellery Arabia has partnered with Dubai Design Academy to host a number of courses targeting a wide range of profiles from established jewellery professionals seeking to improve their skillsets, to young talent looking to learn the basics of jewellery making. Jewellery Arabia visitors wishing to enrol in the workshops with Dubai Design Academy will get the chance to avail a 15% discount when signing up.

Commenting on the occasion, Mohaned El Mahgoub, General Manager of Informa Markets Bahrain, said: “It gives us great pleasure to be partnering with world-renowned experts within the jewellery and perfume industries as part of the talks and workshops that will be hosted during this year’s first-ever educational programme at the event. Through this programme, we aim to serve as the learning platform of choice for ‘jewellers in the making’ and hope to launch similar initiatives in upcoming events.”

With over 15 years of experience in jewellery and a thriving career as an authoritative voice in the industry, Katerina Perez will be sharing her expertise with visitors at the event. The globetrotting jewellery aficionado has been featured in various publications such as VO+ and the Financial Times, and was one of the first writers to bring fine jewellery online. Katerina will be hosting short talks on her best tips on how to buy jewellery, as well as offering personal shopping sessions to Jewellery Arabia visitors during the highly anticipated event.

As part of the Kingdom’s first luxury fragrance event, Scent Arabia will be welcoming Anais Fournial, a professional perfumer from Paris, who is a current instructor at the eminent ‘ISIPCA Paris’, the perfume and cosmetics training institute founded by fragrance master Guerlain in 1970. Anais has been featured in Forbes and French Gala, and is a creator of bespoke perfumes for individuals, hospitality, events and world-renowned perfume brands. During Scent Arabia, Anais will be offering visitors with a series of workshops and talks, as they will also get the chance to create their own fragrances and discover the dynamics behind perfume making.

Jewellery Arabia 2022’s educational programme will be covering topics ranging from sustainability in jewellery to pearls, amber and much more. Visitors can view the full programme on www.jewelleryarabia.com and follow www.instagram.com/jewelleryarabiabahrain for regular updates.
