Southern Governor His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa today opened the Family Fun Festival at the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC).

The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Southern Governor Brigadier Isa Thamer Al Dosari, Southern Municipality Director General Asem Abdullatif and other officials.

The entertainment festival which runs until December 3 will be open to the public from 4 p.m until midnight. Over 100 projects and other sectors are taking part in the event.

The Governor toured the festival venue which features entertainments events, restaurants, cafes, children arcades in addition to cultural artistic shows

In a statement, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa praised the festivals which caters to different categories of visitors, noting the the role of the Governorate as center for hosting major events.
