Jordan becomes authorized partner of Global Center for Maritime and Air Cargo Services

Manama, Jan.5 (BNA): Minister of Industry and Commerce Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro affirmed that the growing relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan reflect their strategic depth and the strong historical fraternal ties.
He noted the continued support of Bahraini-Jordanian relations from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and, His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein of Jordan.
He made the statement on the sidelines on the sidelines of the official visit of Jordanian Prime Minister and Defence Minister Dr. Bisher Al-Khasawneh to the Kingdom of Bahrain, and upon granting the Kingdom of Jordan the status of the authorized partner of the Global Center for Maritime and Air Cargo Services.
The move aims to support bilateral economic and trade relations, develop links with various economic sectors, and attract more investments with a competitive advantage, to further enhance the existing economic, trade and investment partnership between the two countries.
Bahrain has launched the Global Center for Maritime and Air Cargo Services, to enhance the competitiveness of the link between Khalifa bin Salman Port and Bahrain International Airport, by providing faster and lower-cost services compared to sea and air freight.
