HEC Secretary General visits BIBF

Manama, Jan.24 (BNA): Higher Education Council (HEC) Secretary-General, HEC Board of Trustees' Deputy Chairperson, Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa today paid a visit to the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF).
She was updated about BIBF programs for students and employees in the financial and banking sectors, in line with the needs of the labor market, in addition to the training and practical courses.
She was briefed about modern and technological techniques used in the educational process in line with the modern strides, commensurate with the needs of students and trainees.
In a statement, she stressed the importance of drawing up modern plans and programs that cater to needs of the labour market and provide human resources and trained national competencies capable.
BIBF Director Genral Dr. Ahmed Al Sheikh stressed the institute's keenness to meet the needs of the labour market in the business and baking specialties, in addition to digital transformation and sustainability. .
He underlined efforts to attract students and employees from various banks and banks and provide them with specialized courses and professional certificates.
He noted that the institute is working to raise the number of students and trainee employees who wish to obtain professional certificates, highlighting the possibility of providing remote study for students through the latest available technologies.
