BAPCO committed to its vision to empower Bahraini youth to shape better future

Manama, Mar. 12 (BNA): Bahrain Petroleum Company (BAPCO) has rewarded 17 Bahrainis with outstanding performance with promotion to leadership positions in the company.
Chief Executive Officer Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery has issued the decision to advance the 17 employees professionally in line with BAPCO’s company’s commitment to develop Bahraini competencies and empower them to assume greater responsibility and apply their distinguished capabilities.
The commitment reflects the company's board of directors' policy to achieve the vision of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oil and Gas Holding Company (nogaholding), the hydrocarbon and energy investment and development arm of Bahrain.
The vision calls for giving qualified young national Bahrainis more responsibilities to build on their potential and abilities to achieve more success in the service of the Kingdom.
Dr. Jawahery expressed pride in the 17 Bahrainis and in their achievements that confirmed their commitment, sincerity, dedication and pursuit of excellence.
BAPCO views its young talented employees as the real asset to achieve success, sustain development, and improve performances, he added.
Dr. Jawahery stressed the high level of confidence in the newly-promoted personnel as representatives of success and hope ahead in the company, a major supporter of the national economic progress.
BAPCO CEO commended the tremendous support accorded by HH Shaikh Nasser to the young personnel of the company, motivating them to keep looking ahead and giving them ample opportunities to highlight their capabilities, innovate and achieve.
Driven by HH Shaikh Nasser’s vision that young people have the creativity and great energy to shape a better world, BAPCO has undertaken an administrative development and qualification of young Bahrainis, granting them leadership responsibility within the policies adopted by the Board of Directors, he said.
The company is also developing the strategy, vision and structure that give it greater power to achieve its objectives.
Dr. Jawahery thanked Board Chairman Abdullah Jehad Al Zain and members for their support to empower young Bahrainis with the ability and opportunity to achieve more and better.
