Manama, Mar. 15 (BNA): Bahrain All Share Index closed at 1,898.89 points, marking a decrease of 7.52 points below the previous closing.
This decrease was due to the fall in the communication service sector and materials sector.
Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 658.84 points, marking an increase of 2.40 points above the previous closing.
Results indicated that 62 equity transactions took place with a volume of 1,902,280 worth BD 834,599.
Investors traded mainly in the material sector representing 80.35% of the total value of securities traded.
